Access Stripe Connect Setup

Navigate to the Stripe Connect section

Navigate to your provider dashboard and locate the Stripe Connect section on the left-hand navigation bar to begin linking your Stripe account.

Log in to your Provider Dashboard Access your SLYD provider account at platform.slyd.com
Navigate to Stripe Connect Find "Stripe Connect" in the left-hand navigation menu
Click "Connect with Stripe" This will initiate the Stripe Connect onboarding process

Account Verification

Provide required information for verification

Stripe requires identity verification to comply with financial regulations. Be prepared to provide the following information:

Personal Information

Full legal name, date of birth, home address, and SSN or tax ID for identity verification.

Business Information

If applicable: business legal name, address, EIN, and business type (LLC, sole proprietor, etc.).

Bank Account Details

Routing number and account number for the bank account where you want to receive payouts.

Security & Privacy: All information provided during onboarding is handled directly by Stripe's secure systems. SLYD never stores sensitive financial information like bank account numbers or SSNs.

Complete Stripe Onboarding

Follow the Stripe onboarding flow

Clicking "Connect with Stripe" will redirect you to Stripe's secure onboarding flow. This process typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete.

Step 1: Business Information Provide your business details, including legal name, address, and business type.
Step 2: Personal Information Enter personal details for identity verification, including SSN or tax ID.
Step 3: Banking Information Add your bank account details where you want to receive payouts.
Step 4: Review & Submit Verify all information is correct and submit for verification.

Follow the on-screen prompts carefully. You may need to upload ID documents for verification depending on your location and business type.

Account Status and Completion

Verify your account is ready

After completing the onboarding process, you'll return to your SLYD dashboard where you can view your Stripe account status.

Account Status Indicators

Complete

Your account is fully verified and ready to accept payments. You can start earning immediately.

Pending Review

Stripe is reviewing your information. This usually takes 1-2 business days to complete.

Action Required

Additional information or documentation is needed. Check your email for specific requirements.

Understanding Payouts

How and when you get paid

Once your Stripe account is active, payments from customers will be automatically processed and transferred to your bank account.

Payout Schedule

When you receive your earnings:

  • Biweekly automatic payouts
  • $10 minimum balance threshold
  • 2-day settlement for new accounts
  • Weekends/holidays may affect timing

Processing Fees

Understanding the fee structure:

  • Stripe's standard processing fees apply
  • SLYD platform commission is separate
  • No setup or monthly fees
  • Fees deducted from each transaction

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you encounter issues during the setup process, here are some common solutions:

Account Verification Failed

Common causes and solutions:

  • Double-check all personal information for accuracy
  • Ensure ID photos are clear and not blurry
  • Verify business info matches official records
  • Resubmit with high-quality documents

Bank Account Not Supported

Bank compatibility issues:

  • Prepaid cards are not accepted
  • Use a major bank checking account
  • Business accounts may need extra verification
  • Contact support for alternatives

Onboarding Link Expired

Link expiration solutions:

  • Links are valid for 24 hours
  • Return to your SLYD dashboard
  • Click "Complete Stripe Onboarding"
  • A new link will be generated
