Selection Guide

Bandwidth

InfiniBand provides higher bandwidth and lower latency than Ethernet. A 400Gb/s fabric supports efficient 64+ GPU clusters.

Topology

Fat-tree and dragonfly topologies offer different trade-offs between cost, latency, and scalability.

Compatibility

Most NVIDIA DGX and HGX systems use ConnectX adapters with InfiniBand or Ethernet connectivity.
