Renting means running on a cluster SLYD places with an operator under a contract for a fixed term: dedicated capacity you commit to, not metered instances you start and stop. If you are not sure which fits, submit either one and say so in the requirement; the distinction is a commercial one and it is not fixed at submission.

No. An accelerator, a quantity, a workload, and a timeframe are enough to open a requirement. The more specific the configuration, region, and timing are, the more precisely the requirement can be assessed.
When is a private requirement created?
Nothing is stored while you adjust the form; that is a draft in your browser. A private requirement record is created only when you submit it with your name and work email through the post action, and you are asked to sign in so the record lands on your dashboard.
How are prices and delivery dates confirmed?
Nothing on this page is a quote. Price, delivery, and commercial terms are confirmed in a transaction-specific proposal, after the requirement has been reviewed and the relevant supply has been checked.
What happens when no current listing fits?
For a requirement that is the normal case rather than a failure. The requirement stays on file so it can be assessed against supply as that supply changes, instead of leaving you to re-check the public listings yourself.

How do I update or withdraw a requirement?
Contact the SLYD team with the reference from your submission and ask for the record to be updated or withdrawn. There is no self-service edit or withdrawal control on this page today.
